Spectators: 5210 (Terracing: 4100, Seating: 1100, VIP seats: 10) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Saturnino Gitano kicked off to start the match. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Saturnino Gitano put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Matias Geofredo. Matias Geofredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saturnino Gitano in the 14th minute of the match. Matias Geofredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saturnino Gitano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Saturnino Gitano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matias Geofredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saturnino Gitano in the 25th minute of the match. After 26 played minutes TAC FC got a freekick which was hit by Generoso Malvin. Matias Geofredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saturnino Gitano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind TAC FC's goalkeeper Matias Geofredo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ermegildo Esquipula sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Justino Lazcano took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nereo Xabat. Nereo Xabat dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Saturnino Gitano in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matias Geofredo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, TAC FC's Generoso Malvin got a free kick in the 46th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Generoso Malvin to strike the kick off in the second half. Justino Lazcano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nereo Xabat having to make a save. Justino Lazcano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Nereo Xabat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felipe Araoz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonardo Montrell kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Saturnino Gitano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Matias Geofredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th match minute, TAC FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damaso Llorenc to maneuver through the defense. Saturnino Gitano struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Matias Geofredo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Newells Old Boys. After a defensive mix-up in Newells Old Boys's zone, Generoso Malvin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nereo Xabat came out of the goal and Generoso Malvin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Newells Old Boys's Saturnino Gitano got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Matias Geofredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saturnino Gitano in the 93rd minute of play. After having played for 97 minutes, Ermegildo Esquipula managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Newells Old Boys's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ermegildo Esquipula was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Newells Old Boys players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented TAC FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
