Arturo Venerando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Montrel in the 16th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Naranjito FC's Felix Machado got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 19th minute Baldomiro Distiratsu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Telmo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Naranjito FC's Juan Telmo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomiro Distiratsu in the 20th minute of play. After the first half Naranjito FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristo Luzea to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Vinito getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Adolfo Elija hit a great ball.
