Spectators: 7070 (Terracing: 5400, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 10) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fabricio Quinteros took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Godoy Cruz Antonio Tomba's Fabricio Quinteros got a free kick in the 2nd minute. After 4 minutes, Desiderio Belo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Godoy Cruz Antonio Tomba and the Cachipampa FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 5th minute, Desiderio Belo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raul Dolcet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Lopez having to interfere. When Sixto Heriberto came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Cachipampa FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sixto Heriberto couldn't finish the play. Uriel Leheren took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Esteve Tiadoro. Esteve Tiadoro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 23rd minute of the match Cachipampa FC got a corner. Godoy Cruz Antonio Tomba's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cosme Quintyn ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Cosme Quintyn got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Esteve Tiadoro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Sixto Heriberto took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Esteve Tiadoro. Esteve Tiadoro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. With a little luck, Cachipampa FC's Denis Lopez got control of the ball when Raul Dolcet tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fabricio Quinteros's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Denis Lopez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Uriel Leheren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Esteve Tiadoro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Esteve Tiadoro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sixto Heriberto, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After a rather tough play, Godoy Cruz Antonio Tomba's Desiderio Belo got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Esteve Tiadoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uriel Leheren in the 45th minute of play. If Raul Dolcet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sixto Heriberto was the one to do the kick off. Uriel Leherens short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Esteve Tiadoro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Denis Lopez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabricio Quinteros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cachipampa FC's Sixto Heriberto got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcelo Eliu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Denis Lopez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. The supporters of Godoy Cruz Antonio Tomba booed when Cachipampa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvano Lop didn't get a good kick on the ball. Godoy Cruz Antonio Tomba's Arnaldo Urtsua was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Denis Lopez in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Florencio Chinto hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Denis Lopez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabricio Quinteros in the 71st minute of play. Fabricio Quinteros took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Denis Lopez. Denis Lopez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Raul Dolcet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Denis Lopez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raul Dolcet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cachipampa FC's Denis Lopez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Dolcet in the 86th minute of play. Fabricio Quinteros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Lopez having to interfere. Denis Lopez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raul Dolcet in the 89th minute of the match. Cachipampa FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
