Spectators: 6794 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1694, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cristo Luzea started the match with the kick off. Juan Telmo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raul Dolcet in the 5th minute of play. Juan Telmo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raul Dolcet in the 7th minute of the match. Naranjito FC's Juan Telmo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Dolcet in the 8th minute of play. If Cristo Luzea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Esteve Tiadoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonel Serapio in the 20th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Leonel Serapio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Esteve Tiadoro was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raul Dolcet in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juan Telmo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leonel Serapio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Naranjito FC fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Naranjito FC's Cristo Luzea looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in Godoy Cruz Antonio Tomba's zone, Gualterio Iratxo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esteve Tiadoro came out of the goal and Gualterio Iratxo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gualterio Iratxo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabricio Quinteros was the one to do the kick off. Esteve Tiadoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonel Serapio in the 51st minute of play. Esteve Tiadoro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristo Luzea went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. If Victor Montrel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 60 minutes, Leonel Serapio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Naranjito FC and the Godoy Cruz Antonio Tomba players grew even worse after the yellow card. Leonel Serapio hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Naranjito FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Fabricio Quinteros scored to the left of an out of position Juan Telmo, making the score, 2-1. In the 65th minute, Gonzalo Marin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristo Luzea hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. If Leonel Serapio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Godoy Cruz Antonio Tomba getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Gonzalo Marin hit a great ball. After having played for 78 minutes, Cristo Luzea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Naranjito FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristo Luzea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 80 minutes into the match, Naranjito FC's Cristo Luzea sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Esteve Tiadoro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fernan Ortzi took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Esteve Tiadoro. Esteve Tiadoro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Astor Cefero struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Esteve Tiadoro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Naranjito FC. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristo Luzea in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Esteve Tiadoro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 93rd minute Leonel Serapio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteve Tiadoro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raul Dolcet took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Juan Telmo. Juan Telmo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. There was no doubt that Naranjito FC were the better team. Naranjito FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
