Aureliano Osmundo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vinito's Lino Leocadio got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 27th minute, Evelio Corderun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Baldomiro Distiratsu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aureliano Osmundo was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Ranquelcó's Cayetano Urdin got a free kick in the 31st minute.
