In the 30th minute, Eusebio Onofre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zacarias Santxol might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Virgilio Bidari. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zacarias Santxol ran back to his position shaking his head. Evelio Cordearo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Paulino Dodorol showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 34 minute of play. The audience was convinced that Celestino Lapurdi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Virgilio Bidari was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Celestino Lapurdi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Eusebio Onofre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evelio Cordearo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulino Dodorol in the 73rd minute of play. When Eusebio Onofre came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Garupá FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eusebio Onofre couldn't finish the play. 76 minutes into the game, Garupá FC's Paulino Dodorol nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Evelio Cordearo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Eusebio Onofre's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Evelio Cordearo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. In the 84th minute, Eusebio Onofre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 86 played minutes Garupá FC got a freekick which was hit by Paulino Dodorol. The supporters of Lugano City booed when Garupá FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Hulberto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute Ceferino Unax shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Bidari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Garupá FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
