The referee ignored All in's protests and gave Evelio Magdaleno a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to All in getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Evelio Magdaleno hit a great ball. When Cecilio Xabat came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Racing de Bavio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cecilio Xabat couldn't finish the play. If Tobias Furman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Samuel Mikelats was the one to do the kick off.
