When Victorio Incendio fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Diego Armando FC's protests and gave Victorio Incendio a yellow card for diving instead. 11 minutes into the game, one of Diego Armando FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. A collision led to Alpargata F.C. getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Bernardo Licerio hit a great ball. Diego Armando FC's Desiderio Horado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Markel in the 22nd minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Diego Armando FC's goal looked a bit too open when Niceto Haimar came free, but Desiderio Horado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Braulio Enaut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 26 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Diego Armando FC! Niceto Haimar might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Desiderio Horado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Niceto Haimar ran back to his position shaking his head. Ramiro Bordat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Anacleto Criston tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Niceto Haimar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Florentino Tximitx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anacleto Criston having to interfere. In the 56th minute Niceto Haimar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Desiderio Horado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anacleto Criston came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Diego Armando FC's Florentino Tximitx. But to his dismay, Florentino Tximitx quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Braulio Enaut managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alpargata F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Braulio Enaut was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Desiderio Horado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Desiderio Horado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niceto Haimar, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Braulio Enaut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 67 minutes into the game, Emilio Turi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Diego Armando FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alpargata F.C. the free kick. Gualterio Hermelando charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Braulio Enaut succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 87th playminute. Braulio Enaut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Desiderio Horado having to interfere. Niceto Haimar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
