If Evelio Millan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th minute, Angelo Joseph made a precise shot to the right of Fernando Perpinya. Chaco FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Evelio Millan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 37 minutes, Americo Rudolfo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chaco FC and the Team Gelmetti players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 37th match minute, Chaco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Americo Rudolfo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonides Terciero in the 42nd minute of play forced Team Gelmetti's goalkeeper Genaro Regis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fernando Pudes in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernando Perpinya prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 45 minutes into the match, Chaco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cecilio Loco came free, but Fernando Perpinya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Americo Rudolfo to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Jesus Jenaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Team Gelmetti's supporters rose to their feet, but Jesus Jenaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernando Perpinya breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Agustin Ilazki came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Team Gelmetti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agustin Ilazki couldn't finish the play. The Team Gelmetti fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when Team Gelmetti's Fernando Pudes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a little luck, Chaco FC's Fernando Perpinya got control of the ball when Evelio Millan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fernando Perpinya made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fernando Pudes in the 63rd minute. After a rather tough play, Chaco FC's Americo Rudolfo got a free kick in the 64th minute. Fernando Perpinya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Joseph in the 68th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, Angelo Joseph got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With his leg Fernando Perpinya managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when Team Gelmetti's Fernando Pudes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Angelo Joseph received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Fernando Perpinya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aureliano Weterio kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Fernando Pudess short, quick shot in the 82ndth minute got Fernando Perpinya to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Evelio Millan got free with Fernando Perpinya in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 85th minute, Angelo Joseph got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Chaco FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 87th minute, when Fernando Pudes scored to the left of an out of position Fernando Perpinya, making the score, 0-3. An unexpected shot in the 91st minute by Angelo Joseph got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 93 played minutes Chaco FC got a freekick which was hit by Leonides Terciero. Team Gelmetti's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
