Rolando Cayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santos Inge in the 21st minute of play. Black Dog's Jairo Larpe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dario Merexildo in the 23rd minute of play. Jairo Larpe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dario Merexildo, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Jairo Larpe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dario Merexildo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee ignored Black Dog's protests and gave Modesto Mincho a yellow card for diving instead. After 68 minutes, Laureano Celino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the River F.C and the Black Dog players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to River F.C getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Laureano Celino hit a great ball. 69 minutes into the match, Black Dog's Santos Inge sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rolando Cayo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 71 played minutes River F.C got a freekick which was hit by Martin Nuñez. In the 72nd minute of the match Omar Oliverios shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rolando Cayo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Black Dog's Santos Inge got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Santos Inge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Santos Inge came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Black Dog fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Santos Inge couldn't finish the play. Alfonso Joanes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Rolando Cayo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, River F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Santos Inge came free, but Rolando Cayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Cayo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santos Inge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 98 minutes into the match, Black Dog's goalkeeper Jairo Larpe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dario Merexildo. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched River F.C eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
