Augusto Atarratze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Angelino Tauro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 22 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Irresponsables F.C! In the 29th minute, Augusto Atarratze ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Angelino Tauro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eulalio Oihan got free with Patric Sellberg in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Eulalio Oihan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of la locomotora FC booed when Irresponsables F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingos Roderigo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half la locomotora FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Teo Leguizamón fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelino Tauro having to interfere. Augusto Atarratze sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 64 minutes into the game, Guido Barros cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Patric Sellberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by la locomotora FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. After having played for 72 minutes, Teo Leguizamón managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. la locomotora FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teo Leguizamón was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Augusto Atarratze struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Angelino Tauro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for la locomotora FC. The Irresponsables F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Angelino Tauro should have stopped the shot. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. la locomotora FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
