Alvaro Mergildo charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alvaro Mergildo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Campana's Alvaro Mergildo got a free kick in the 26th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Deportivo Campana's goal looked a bit too open when Desiderio Gregory came free, but Severo Orlanda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

If Florencio Peruanton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Travesía AFC's goalkeeper Fabio Iyan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Deportivo Campana's Florencio Peruanton in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Travesía AFC's goalie prevented a goal. If Pascual Cristofor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
