The goalkeeper, Cornelio Bernad, was totally fooled by KingMarley-'s Eliseo Timo, who 17 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The supporters of KingMarley- booed when Penumbra FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorio Federigo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mauricio Dalmai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Cornelio Bernad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. KingMarley-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Mauricio Dalmai was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cornelio Bernad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cornelio Bernad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octavio Tello in the 34th minute of the match. After 40 played minutes Penumbra FC got a freekick which was hit by Dionisio Berriotxoa. In the 44th minute KingMarley- were awarded a corner. Eliseo Timo went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led KingMarley-'s Jesus Luzaide to fire away a dangerous shot which Cornelio Bernad despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mauricio Dalmai stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mauricio Dalmai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was a penalty for KingMarley-! 69 minutes into the match, KingMarley-'s goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Grabiel came free, but Samuel Abancens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
