Spectators: 6660 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 0) Sixto Salomon made the kick off and thus started the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Desiderio Gregory in the 3rd minute of play forced Murquilla AFC's goalkeeper Alejo Gaur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 4th minute, Gaston Lucado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alejo Gaur was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Paulino Ioritz hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Travesía AFC's Fabio Iyan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Travesía AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 11th minute, Gerardo Tabb hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabio Iyan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sixto Salomon in the 13th minute of the match. Fausto Jesco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Fabio Iyan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaston Lucado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gaston Lucado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 24 minutes into the match, Murquilla AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Desiderio Gregory came free, but Alejo Gaur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Travesía AFC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Paulino Ioritz hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Murquilla AFC defense, Gaston Lucado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alejo Gaur. The Murquilla AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alejo Gaur should have stopped the shot.

Gaston Lucado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejo Gaur having to interfere. If Fausto Jesco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sixto Salomon took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabio Iyan. Fabio Iyan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. If Gaston Lucado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Domingo Ritchie's late challenge caught a Travesía AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Domingo Ritchie helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Murquilla AFC's Domingo Ritchie got a free kick in the 69th minute. Alejo Gaur was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Felix Salvatore. 73 minutes into the match, Travesía AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Sixto Salomon came free, but Fabio Iyan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sixto Salomon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Iyan having to interfere. After having played for 83 minutes, Fausto Jesco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Murquilla AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fausto Jesco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 90th minute Desiderio Gregory shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejo Gaur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fausto Jesco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Iyan having to interfere. The Travesía AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Travesía AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
