The referee showed Ulises Kaiet the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Almela's Ulises Kaiet got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 18th minute of the match Clemente Silviano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jack McRobbie showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Elias Frichoso's late challenge caught a Deportivo Almela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elias Frichoso helped the player get up and apologised. After 20 played minutes CEDEM got a freekick which was hit by Elias Frichoso. With his leg Venancio Bermudo managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when Deportivo Almela's Ceferino Gorosti fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After having played for 23 minutes, Ulises Kaiet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Almela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulises Kaiet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bernardino Hibai kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After 31 played minutes, CEDEM's Edgard Senen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jack McRobbie came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in CEDEM reached it. 40 minutes into the match, Elias Frichoso notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Deportivo Almela's Jack McRobbie. Jack McRobbie was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 43 minutes of play, CEDEM's Elias Frichoso made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jack McRobbie was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ceferino Gorosti made a kick off. Candido Baraquiel's late challenge caught a Deportivo Almela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Candido Baraquiel helped the player get up and apologised. After 55 played minutes CEDEM got a freekick which was hit by Candido Baraquiel. Jack McRobbie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Frichoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Ceferino Gorosti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Venancio Bermudo having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Anastasio Ado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Venancio Bermudo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Evelio Galtero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 69 minutes into the game, Ceferino Gorosti cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Venancio Bermudo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 72nd minute, Ceferino Gorosti left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo Almela fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3. 75 minutes into the match, Deportivo Almela's goal looked a bit too open when Elias Frichoso came free, but Jack McRobbie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eduardo Ihazintu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Jack McRobbie made a huge save. In the 84th minute, Vinicio Janpier left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo Almela fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-3. After a defensive mix-up in CEDEM's zone, Ceferino Gorosti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Venancio Bermudo came out of the goal and Ceferino Gorosti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Deportivo Almela's Vinicio Janpier got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jack McRobbie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Ihazintu in the 92nd minute of play. Venancio Bermudo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ceferino Gorosti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ceferino Gorosti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Almela's Bernabe Unai got a free kick in the 97th minute.
