The crowd rose to their feet as Bernardo Ted kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jack McRobbie. That made the score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Ceferino Gorosti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Almela's supporters rose to their feet, but Ceferino Gorosti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isaac Sansone breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 19th minute, Ceferino Gorosti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Isaac Sansone didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ceferino Gorosti went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ceferino Gorosti in the 27th minute of play forced Larvas team's goalkeeper Isaac Sansone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Luis Esiquio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ceferino Gorosti might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isaac Sansone. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ceferino Gorosti ran back to his position shaking his head. Luis Esiquio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaac Sansone having to interfere. If Ceferino Gorosti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Larvas team defense, Ceferino Gorosti kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isaac Sansone. The Larvas team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isaac Sansone should have stopped the shot. Bernardo Ted fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jack McRobbie having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ceferino Gorosti in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isaac Sansone prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ceferino Gorosti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Efrain Dominix made a kick off. Luis Esiquio struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Isaac Sansone didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Almela. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ceferino Gorosti couldn't finish the play. In the 63rd minute, Luis Esiquio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 64 minutes, Jesus Martino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Almela and the Larvas team players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jesus Martino kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Jack McRobbie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Ted, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Luis Esiquio was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 67 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Almela's Luis Esiquio got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 70th minute Melchor Hug shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jack McRobbie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ceferino Gorosti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 76th match minute, Deportivo Almela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vinicio Janpier to maneuver through the defense. Jack McRobbie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Ted in the 78th minute of play. After 79 played minutes Larvas team got a freekick which was hit by Mauricio Senin. In the 85th match minute, Deportivo Almela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vinicio Janpier to maneuver through the defense. Jack McRobbie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melchor Hug in the 89th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Deportivo Almela left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Larvas team.
