Spectators: 7238 (Terracing: 5430, Seating: 1665, VIP seats: 143) Hortensia AFC's Paulino Lain started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Benjamin Larpe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Lopez in the 6th minute of play. Paulino Lain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. German Suarez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Pastor Nicholas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of German Suarez. The goal made the score 1-0. 20 minutes into the match, Paulino Lain dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of German Suarez, 2-0. German Suarez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pastor Nicholas in the 25th minute. After 29 played minutes Nafta Super got a freekick which was hit by Luciano Bonifaco. In the 30th minute Rogelio Leguizamón shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but German Suarez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the game, Eriberto Diaz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nafta Super's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hortensia AFC the free kick. With an all-out effort, Hortensia AFC's German Suarez threw himself towards the right post 39 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Teobaldo Sein, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. German Suarez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulino Lain, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Federico Lopez made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luciano Bonifaco during the 52nd minute. German Suarez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 79 played minutes Hortensia AFC got a freekick which was hit by Feliciano Beltran. In the 84th minute, Victoriano Donio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
