Remigiusz Banan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melquiades Inko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnaldo Lauro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilfredo Erasto, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. When Maco's Delmar Xacintu in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Glorioso Vélez Sársfield's Conrado Bermudez got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arnaldo Lauro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilfredo Erasto, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 45th match minute, Maco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolando Cesaro to maneuver through the defense.

The wind increased when Delmar Xacintu made the kick off in the second half. Remigiusz Banan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmar Xacintu in the 63rd minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, Wilfredo Erasto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnaldo Lauro. Maco's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wilfredo Erasto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Maco's Edgard Bazil shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 70th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Remigiusz Banan but with some difficulty. After a rather tough play, Glorioso Vélez Sársfield's Froilan Gilabert got a free kick in the 71st minute. Glorioso Vélez Sársfield's Wilfredo Erasto got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teobaldo Egoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Arnaldo Lauro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Melquiades Inko could shoot a difficult shot in the 85th minute, which Remigiusz Banan however easily saved by the left post. Maco were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
