Arsenio Ermano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Casimiro Lain stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Silverio Endura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Blas Urtsua's late challenge caught a Anquincila's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Blas Urtsua helped the player get up and apologised. Blas Urtsua kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. vilmapalma's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Silverio Endura 81 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raimundo Raymon got free with Arsenio Ermano in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Raimundo Raymon came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Anquincila fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raimundo Raymon couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in vilmapalma's zone, Silverio Endura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arsenio Ermano came out of the goal and Silverio Endura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match was over Anquincila could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than vilmapalma throughout the match.
