In the 6th minute Melquiades Inko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elvio Azibar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Maco's goal looked a bit too open when Ambrosio Cresenciano came free, but Arnaldo Lauro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute Delmar Xacintu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elvio Azibar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, Prospero Gutxi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Talleres the free kick. After 17 played minutes Maco got a freekick which was hit by Prospero Gutxi. Guaberto Orti's late challenge caught a Talleres's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guaberto Orti helped the player get up and apologised. In the 19th minute, Ambrosio Cresenciano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 22 minutes into the match, Melquiades Inko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elvio Azibar. Arnaldo Lauro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 36 minutes into the game, Ambrosio Cresenciano lined in a short shot 1-2 behind a frustrated Arnaldo Lauro. When Ismael Ofelio came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Talleres fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ismael Ofelio couldn't finish the play. The Talleres players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Maco were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ambrosio Cresenciano to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Ambrosio Cresenciano notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Maco's Arnaldo Lauro. Arnaldo Lauro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Ismael Ofelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ismael Ofelio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Arnaldo Lauro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnaldo Lauro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ambrosio Cresenciano, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Delmar Xacintu was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 66th minute. Maco's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a defensive mix-up in Talleres's zone, Delmar Xacintu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elvio Azibar came out of the goal and Delmar Xacintu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 72 played minutes Talleres got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Sidro. Ambrosio Cresenciano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Arnaldo Lauro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hector Perico hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gervasio Bilintx during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Maco's Guaberto Orti got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Arnaldo Lauro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ambrosio Cresenciano in the 85th minute of the match. Arnaldo Lauro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ambrosio Cresenciano's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Talleres were awarded a corner in the 93th minute after Maco's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Baltasar Tibalt took the corner. The corner ended in Ismael Ofelio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Maco's Arnaldo Lauro did a great save. Talleres's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
