When Miguel Chinto fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Catenaccio FC's protests and gave Miguel Chinto a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Catenaccio FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Miguel Chinto hit a great ball. Tiburcio Feliz's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tobias Kimetz firmly grabbed it by the left post. Tiburcio Feliz might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tobias Kimetz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tiburcio Feliz ran back to his position shaking his head. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Lázaro Etxekopar got free with Serafin Kaiet in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 60 minutes into the match, Catenaccio FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jesus Satordi came free, but Tobias Kimetz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
