The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Criston in the 23rd minute of play forced Beltrán FC's goalkeeper Eloy Mitxel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfredo Colon in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Domingo Quintan saved Curupayti from getting behind. In the 28th minute, Joel Martinez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Domingo Quintan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After a rather tough play, Beltrán FC's Silvestre Mede got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Tomas Martinez's late challenge caught a Curupayti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomas Martinez helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 35th minute of the game. One of Beltrán FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Curupayti:s goal. Isaac Criston recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Everardo Quintyn during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Beltrán FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Everardo Quintyn hit a great ball. Eloy Mitxel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dionisio Daunte in the 48th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dionisio Daunte made a kick off. Dionisio Daunte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Eloy Mitxel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomas Martinez was shown his second yellow card after 63 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 63rd minute, Tomas Martinez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Hugo Gomez in the 72nd minute really tested Domingo Quintan's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Alfredo Colon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Beltrán FC's Alfredo Colon got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Javier Millano fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Beltrán FC's protests and gave Javier Millano a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Beltrán FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Javier Millano hit a great ball. 90 minutes into the match, Alfredo Colon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Domingo Quintan. Curupayti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfredo Colon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. The supporters of Beltrán FC booed when Curupayti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Candido Satordi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Beltrán FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
