In the 13th minute Francisco Austin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apolo Dalmai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Loreto booed when MATILDA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narciso Frances didn't get a good kick on the ball. Apolo Dalmai stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Francisco Austin's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Hipolito Gizon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Apolo Dalmai read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. The supporters of MATILDA FC booed when Loreto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Austin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Francisco Austin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 24 minutes, Aaron Balesio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Loreto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aaron Balesio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Loreto's Hipolito Gizon got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Elias Urdin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apolo Dalmai having to interfere. Aaron Balesio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Apolo Dalmai read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. If Lorenzo Urtsin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francisco Austin might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Apolo Dalmai. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Francisco Austin ran back to his position shaking his head. Lorenzo Urtsin took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Apolo Dalmai. Apolo Dalmai dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Elias Urdin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The MATILDA FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Loreto were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Francisco Austin made a kick off. Hipolito Gizon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apolo Dalmai having to interfere. Delmar Florinio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaac Indalecio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute, Loreto's Ismael Abancens seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ismael Abancens the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Loreto protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ismael Abancens had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 66th minute, one of Loreto:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Loreto. If Lorenzo Urtsin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. MATILDA FC's Apolo Dalmai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorenzo Urtsin in the 74th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Francisco Austin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Apolo Dalmai. That made the score 1-2 in the 75 minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, MATILDA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Austin came free, but Apolo Dalmai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Narciso Frances hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. If Elias Urdin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Loreto's Hipolito Gizon got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lorenzo Urtsin hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Francisco Austin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Apolo Dalmai made a huge save. Delmar Florinio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Francisco Austin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 95thth minute, Apolo Dalmai skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Lorenzo Urtsin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Loreto were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing MATILDA FC to leave the ground with a draw.
