After a rather tough play, Curupayti's Luciano Ostots got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 30th minute of the match Amador Buinton sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Domingo Quintan skillfully saved the ball. Serafin Kaiet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dionisio Daunte in the 36th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, RUSTICO's Jesus Satordi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Domingo Quintan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With his leg Domingo Quintan managed to avoid a goal in the 46thth minute, when RUSTICO's Tiburcio Feliz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jesus Satordi was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Tiburcio Feliz managed to get in a good position for a shot. RUSTICO's supporters rose to their feet, but Tiburcio Feliz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Domingo Quintan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 55 minutes, Isaac Criston managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Curupayti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isaac Criston was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 62 minutes into the game, RUSTICO's Jesus Satordi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Domingo Quintan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Leopoldo Jokin hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiburcio Feliz in the 75th minute of play forced Curupayti's goalkeeper Domingo Quintan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Curupayti's zone, Tiburcio Feliz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domingo Quintan came out of the goal and Tiburcio Feliz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Curupayti's Isaac Criston was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 83rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind RUSTICO's goalkeeper Serafin Kaiet, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Genaro Corderro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tiburcio Feliz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Domingo Quintan having to make a save. Domingo Quintan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiburcio Feliz in the 94th minute of play. Isaac Criston received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Serafin Kaiet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
