Spectators: 7226 (Terracing: 5421, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edgardo Belasko started the match with the kick off. After 2 played minutes Cayanta got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Celio. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgardo Belasko got free with Bruno Adrio in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Emiliano Joseph fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cayanta's protests and gave Emiliano Joseph a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Cayanta getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Emiliano Joseph hit a great ball. If Edgardo Belasko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th match minute, Cayanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Rios to maneuver through the defense. Gaspar Estefan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emiliano Joseph, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 20 minutes into the game, Braulio Xacintu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ampallo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cayanta the free kick. A collision led to Ampallo FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Braulio Xacintu hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Froila in the 21st minute of play forced Ampallo FC's goalkeeper Gaspar Estefan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute, Cayanta's Jorge Rios seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jorge Rios the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Cayanta protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jorge Rios had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Jorge Rios hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. With his leg Bruno Adrio managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when Ampallo FC's Edgardo Belasko fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 38 minutes into the game, Tomas Garin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cayanta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ampallo FC the free kick. After 39 played minutes Cayanta got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Garin. 39 minutes into the match, Ampallo FC's Jose Chepe broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Edgardo Belasko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Adrio having to interfere. Bruno Adrio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgardo Belasko in the 45th minute of the match. If Edgardo Belasko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Esteve Satordi to strike the kick off in the second half. Silvestre Afonso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Adrio having to interfere. Bruno Adrio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgardo Belasko in the 56th minute of the match. If Esteve Satordi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Silvestre Afonso fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The audience was convinced that Edgardo Belasko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bruno Adrio was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Ampallo FC's Narciso Palban suffered a concussion after 72 minutes and had to leave the field. After 73 minutes of play Cayanta's Emiliano Joseph was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Ampallo FC made a substitution. Ambrosio Galo replaced Narciso Palban. Cayanta's Bruno Adrio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgardo Belasko in the 76th minute of play. In the 78thth minute of the game Edgardo Belasko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cayanta's Bruno Adrio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Esteve Satordi during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 82nd match minute, Cayanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteve Satordi to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cayanta's goalkeeper Bruno Adrio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Silvio Oliverios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Adrio having to interfere. Jose Chepe was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 89th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Leonardo Froila kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Ampallo FC's Jose Chepe got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 94 minutes into the game, Edgardo Belasko cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Bruno Adrio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There was no doubt that Ampallo FC were the better team. Ampallo FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
