Silvestre Afonso didn't get a good kick on the ball. 43 minutes into the game, Edgardo Belasko recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eduardo Guerau. The supporters of Correas booed when Ampallo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvestre Afonso didn't get a good kick on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Mariano Diagur made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match Isidro Bermudo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gaspar Estefan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Silvestre Afonso struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Eduardo Guerau didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ampallo FC. When Silvestre Afonso came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Ampallo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silvestre Afonso couldn't finish the play. Gaspar Estefan was a little too slow when Prudencio Jaen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 67th minute. The score was now 1-2. Silvestre Afonso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eduardo Guerau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvestre Afonso in the 71st minute of the match. If Edgardo Belasko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Correas's zone, Silvestre Afonso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eduardo Guerau came out of the goal and Silvestre Afonso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 78 minutes into the match, Ampallo FC's Silvestre Afonso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eduardo Guerau narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Prudencio Jaen came free with the goalkeeper in the 87th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gaspar Estefan could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Placido Telesforo in the 89th minute of play forced Ampallo FC's goalkeeper Gaspar Estefan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute, Martin Lohitzun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gaspar Estefan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. When Silvestre Afonso came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Ampallo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silvestre Afonso couldn't finish the play. 96 minutes into the game, Ampallo FC's Silvestre Afonso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eduardo Guerau made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. The Ampallo FC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Correas to win.
