David Barrionuevo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruben Cordarin, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Pedro Fernandes kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 12th minute, Cristian Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tigre's Cristobal Tavio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danilo Weterio in the 21st minute of play. Ismael Iraitz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Cristobal Tavio made a huge save. 24 minutes into the game, Tigre's Ciriaco Bingen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. David Barrionuevo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 27 minutes of play Ismiango's Pedro Fernandes was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 28th minute, Pedro Fernandes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st minute Ciriaco Bingen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Barrionuevo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Amador Rosio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tigre's supporters rose to their feet, but Amador Rosio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Barrionuevo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Danilo Weterio helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Ismiango getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Danilo Weterio hit a great ball. Amador Rosio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ismael Iraitz to strike the kick off in the second half. Anastasio Vigil charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anastasio Vigil the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 51 played minutes Ismiango got a freekick which was hit by Anastasio Vigil. David Barrionuevo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Genaro Erramu. After a defensive mix-up in Ismiango's zone, Ciriaco Bingen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Barrionuevo came out of the goal and Ciriaco Bingen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ismael Iraitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Cristobal Tavio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristobal Tavio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismael Iraitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ismael Iraitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Cristobal Tavio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ruben Cordarin's late challenge caught a Ismiango's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ismael Iraitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristobal Tavio having to interfere. Ismiango's David Barrionuevo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciriaco Bingen in the 68th minute of play. If Ismael Iraitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 72 minutes of play, Ismiango's Ismael Iraitz made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristobal Tavio was left in no man's land by his defense there! 2-1 became the score in the 75th minute when Ismael Iraitz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Amador Rosio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Barrionuevo having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Ciriaco Bingen reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of David Barrionuevo. The goal made the score 2-2. After a rather tough play, Ismiango's Cristian Barros got a free kick in the 90th minute.
