An unexpectedly hard shot by Casimiro Milian in the 9th minute of play forced Ismiango's goalkeeper David Barrionuevo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Infierno Rojo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 11th minute, when Danilo Weterio scored to the left of an out of position Adolfo Fix, making the score, 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Casimiro Milian managed to get in a good position for a shot. Infierno Rojo's supporters rose to their feet, but Casimiro Milian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Barrionuevo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 16 played minutes Ismiango got a freekick which was hit by Luciano Senon. In the 17th minute Casimiro Milian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Barrionuevo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Ismiango's zone, Casimiro Milian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Barrionuevo came out of the goal and Casimiro Milian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Efrain Perico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Casimiro Milian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. David Barrionuevo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 26 minutes, Anastasio Vigil mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ismiango and the Infierno Rojo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ismiango's Anastasio Vigil got a free kick in the 26th minute. Ismael Iraitz's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Adolfo Fix firmly grabbed it by the left post. David Barrionuevo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Lertxun, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. When Casimiro Milian came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Infierno Rojo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Casimiro Milian couldn't finish the play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Danilo Weterio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Infierno Rojo's Adolfo Fix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danilo Weterio in the 54th minute of play. Casimiro Milian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 64 minutes into the match, Ismael Iraitz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adolfo Fix. Infierno Rojo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ismael Iraitz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Adolfo Fix was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Casimiro Milian struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. David Barrionuevo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Infierno Rojo. If Jonas Lertxun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th match minute, Ismiango was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Fernandes to maneuver through the defense. During the 94th minute of the match Luciano Senon completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Luciano Senon a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Luciano Senon hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Ismiango were victorious despite being under pressure from Infierno Rojo for much of the match.
