An unexpectedly hard shot by Efrain Afonso in the 6th minute of play forced Club Patricios de Futbol's goalkeeper Santo Teyo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santo Teyo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esteban Larpe, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Esteban Larpe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los inmortales's supporters rose to their feet, but Esteban Larpe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santo Teyo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Santo Teyo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Efrain Afonso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silverio Nastasio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jairo Esquipula in the 17th minute of the match. Silverio Nastasio came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Patricios de Futbol's Artemio Orlondo. But to his dismay, Artemio Orlondo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Eustaquio Jerrold kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Santo Teyo came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Los inmortales's Efrain Afonso. But to his dismay, Efrain Afonso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Patricios de Futbol's goalkeeper Santo Teyo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Esteban Larpe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Efrain Afonso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santo Teyo having to interfere. Efrain Afonso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Esteban Larpe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Patricios de Futbol's goalkeeper Santo Teyo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Club Patricios de Futbol's Santo Teyo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Club Patricios de Futbol from getting a goal against them. In the 57th minute of the match Los inmortales got a corner. Club Patricios de Futbol's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alejo Jago ran over to the corner to take the kick. Los inmortales's Alejo Jago was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Santo Teyo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 61 minutes of play, Los inmortales's Esteban Larpe made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Santo Teyo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Artemio Orlondo kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 69thth minute of the game Esteban Larpe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Patricios de Futbol's Santo Teyo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Genaro Clis during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Los inmortales getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Genaro Clis hit a great ball. Silverio Nastasio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairo Esquipula, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute of the match, Esteban Larpe tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Santo Teyo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, Los inmortales's Esteban Larpe got a free kick in the 93rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Efrain Afonso got free with Santo Teyo in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
