Spectators: 6398 (Terracing: 5398, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ildefonso Lano started the match with the kick off. Candido Tipi kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. In the 5th minute of the match Alejo Jago shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hector Rami showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Silverio Nastasio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salvador Quinito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Los inmortales booed when Deportivo Roca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eleuterio Jaizki didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 14 minutes of play, Los inmortales's Efrain Afonso made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hector Rami was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Esteban Larpe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Deportivo Roca getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Venancio Hernando hit a great ball. After 24 minutes Deportivo Roca's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alejo Jago who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Artemio Urtsua heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After 27 played minutes Deportivo Roca got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Quinito. After having played for 28 minutes, Efrain Afonso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los inmortales's supporters crossed their fingers, but Efrain Afonso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 31 minutes into the match, Deportivo Roca's goal looked a bit too open when Esteban Larpe came free, but Hector Rami reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Esteban Larpe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hector Rami having to interfere. If Esteban Larpe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Esteban Larpe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute, Camilo Guzman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hector Rami was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Esteban Larpe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Eugenio Barbosa fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Roca's protests and gave Eugenio Barbosa a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Roca's Eugenio Barbosa got a free kick in the 47th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Esteban Larpe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hector Rami showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esteban Larpe, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. The supporters of Deportivo Roca booed when Los inmortales was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Genaro Clis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th minute Ildefonso Lano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silverio Nastasio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Deportivo Roca's Hector Rami played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Efrain Afonso in the 60th minute of play. After 62 played minutes Deportivo Roca got a freekick which was hit by Martin Ignazio. In the 63rdth minute of the game Esteban Larpe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Roca's Hector Rami was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Esteban Larpe in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hector Rami saved Deportivo Roca from getting behind. Hector Rami was a little too slow when Efrain Afonso got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 67th minute. The score was now 0-3. A collision led to Deportivo Roca getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Feliciano Perutxo hit a great ball. Efrain Afonso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hector Rami having to make a save. 73 minutes into the game, Candido Tipi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo Roca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los inmortales the free kick. After 73 played minutes Deportivo Roca got a freekick which was hit by Candido Tipi. Silverio Nastasio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Seguinus in the 77th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ildefonso Lano in the 82nd minute of play forced Los inmortales's goalkeeper Silverio Nastasio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 83rd minute of the game. One of Los inmortales:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Deportivo Roca:s goal. Efrain Afonso took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hector Rami. Hector Rami dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Mauro Seguinus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Silverio Nastasio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Los inmortales's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
