Jairo Esquipula's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armando Rosio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Mandisoví's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Jairo Esquipula 56 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. Evelio Gartzea hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Armando Rosio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fermin Maraman in the 61st minute of the match. After having played for 63 minutes, Damian Poncio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mandisoví's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damian Poncio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 64th minute, Damian Poncio made a precise shot to the right of Santo Teyo. Club Patricios de Futbol's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. In the 69th minute Damian Poncio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santo Teyo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Damian Poncio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mandisoví's supporters rose to their feet, but Damian Poncio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santo Teyo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 76 played minutes Mandisoví got a freekick which was hit by Tadeo Frechoso. If Jairo Esquipula had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jairo Esquipula might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armando Rosio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jairo Esquipula ran back to his position shaking his head. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
