The supporters of Gral. Manchester booed when Aglow was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Cai didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 21 played minutes Aglow got a freekick which was hit by Gogo Etxatxu. After a defensive mix-up in Aglow's zone, Jacobo Modestio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iker Etxekopar came out of the goal and Jacobo Modestio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 27th minute, Matias Patxi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iker Etxekopar was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Iker Etxekopar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Patxi in the 31st minute of play. Jacobo Modestio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iker Etxekopar having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Aglow's zone, Matias Patxi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iker Etxekopar came out of the goal and Matias Patxi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Matias Patxi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

With a little luck, Aglow's Iker Etxekopar got control of the ball when Jacobo Modestio tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 94 minutes, Jacobo Modestio made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Aglow's Iker Etxekopar tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The Gral. Manchester supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Gral. Manchester would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
