An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobias Jerano in the 45th minute of play forced El Retorno's goalkeeper Everardo Papo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, El Retorno's Jacobo Bento got a free kick in the 45th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The supporters of C. S. y D. Adrogué booed when El Retorno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Omar Miliano didn't get a good kick on the ball.
