Gilberto Belarmo ran back to his position shaking his head. Anier Chorache stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ciriaco Cortez's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. After a rather tough play, Ituzaingó AFC's Ubaldo Dalmai got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 13th minute, Gilberto Belarmo made a precise shot to the right of Anier Chorache. Gral. Manchester's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ituzaingó AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
