El Retorno's Everardo Papo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amadeo Ponce in the 14th minute of play. The El Retorno fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Everardo Papo should have stopped the shot. In the 22nd minute Ismael Vargas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Everardo Papo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute Amadeo Ponce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Everardo Papo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfonso Montrell was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 34th minute. El Retorno's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aaron Tuste during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of El Retorno booed when Conmoción Celebrar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Tuste didn't get a good kick on the ball. 42 minutes into the match, El Retorno's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Ibañez came free, but Everardo Papo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paolo Mikeldi in the 45th minute of play forced El Retorno's goalkeeper Everardo Papo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The El Retorno players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Conmoción Celebrar were winning 0-3.

53 minutes into the match, El Retorno's goalkeeper Everardo Papo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nestor Ibañez. Jacobo Bento hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Everardo Papo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paolo Mikeldi in the 63rd minute of the match. Everardo Papo was a little too slow when Ismael Vargas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 0-6. When Alfonso Montrell came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the El Retorno fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfonso Montrell couldn't finish the play. In the 88th match minute, El Retorno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacobo Bento to maneuver through the defense. 92 minutes into the match, Paolo Mikeldi notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of El Retorno's Everardo Papo. Everardo Papo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Everardo Papo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amadeo Ponce, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. When the match was over Conmoción Celebrar could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than El Retorno throughout the match.
