After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Haroldo Lazcano managed to get in a good position for a shot. MaRcHiTtO FuTbOl ClUb's supporters rose to their feet, but Haroldo Lazcano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hugo Gilen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Haroldo Lazcano in the 11th managed to get into a good position. Haroldo Lazcano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Gilen having to interfere. After having played for 24 minutes, Nunez Shepherd managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MaRcHiTtO FuTbOl ClUb's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nunez Shepherd was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Haroldo Lazcano took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Hugo Gilen to make any attempt to save it. Haroldo Lazcano struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Hugo Gilen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MaRcHiTtO FuTbOl ClUb. After a defensive mix-up in Ituzaingó AFC's zone, Reynaldo Hustaz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Gilen came out of the goal and Reynaldo Hustaz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Haroldo Lazcano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Gilen having to interfere. Gilberto Belarmo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Augusto Totakoxe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. If Haroldo Lazcano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Atilano Matteo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Gilen having to interfere. Hugo Gilen made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Haroldo Lazcano sent off a good shot on target. Atilano Matteo kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

In the 52nd minute Clemente Rosario suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Bruno Jacob hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. The long shot by Victoriano Munio in the 54th minute really tested Augusto Totakoxe's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 57th minute Haroldo Lazcano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Gilen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Haroldo Lazcano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Carlos Cai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nunez Shepherd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Hugo Gilen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
