Manchester booed when El Retorno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacobo Bento didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the El Retorno defense, Santiago Garin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Everardo Papo. The El Retorno fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Everardo Papo should have stopped the shot. In the 17th minute Matias Patxi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Everardo Papo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 22 played minutes El Retorno got a freekick which was hit by Jacobo Bento. When Rolando Birila came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Gral. Manchester fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rolando Birila couldn't finish the play. In the 24th match minute, Gral. Manchester was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusebio Telesforo to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Jacobo Modestio could shoot a difficult shot in the 27th minute, which Everardo Papo however easily saved by the left post. 29 minutes into the match, El Retorno's goal looked a bit too open when Matias Patxi came free, but Everardo Papo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 31 played minutes El Retorno got a freekick which was hit by Honorato Eneto. Everardo Papo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matias Patxi in the 38th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, Matias Patxi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Everardo Papo, 2-0. Everardo Papo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Patxi in the 46th minute of play. El Retorno's Everardo Papo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save El Retorno from getting a goal against them.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Matias Patxi to strike the kick off in the second half. Everardo Papo came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Gral. Manchester's Matias Patxi. But to his dismay, Matias Patxi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. El Retorno's Everardo Papo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Ieltxu in the 72nd minute of play. Jacobo Bento hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Everardo Papo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Ieltxu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Honorato Eneto fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Retorno's protests and gave Honorato Eneto a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, El Retorno's Honorato Eneto got a free kick in the 83rd minute. The supporters of Gral. Manchester booed when El Retorno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacobo Bento didn't get a good kick on the ball. 89 minutes into the match, El Retorno's goal looked a bit too open when Jacobo Modestio came free, but Everardo Papo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Gral. Manchester had played much better football throughout.
