The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernardino Cortez came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Ituzaingó AFC's Gilberto Belarmo. But to his dismay, Gilberto Belarmo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Bernardino Cortez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemente Rosario in the 15th minute of the match. Celso Casomiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bernardino Cortez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Mark, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Benjamin Cordarrell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Gilen having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Celso Casomiro made a precise shot to the right of Hugo Gilen. Ituzaingó AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 36th match minute, Ituzaingó AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julio Fraco to maneuver through the defense. Celso Casomiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 39 minutes into the match, La Scaloneta's Celso Eutor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hugo Gilen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Benjamin Cordarrell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hugo Gilen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Cordarrell, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Cleto Flores charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cleto Flores the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gilberto Belarmo made a kick off. In the 54th minute Celso Eutor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Gilen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benjamin Cordarrell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 58th minute, Ubaldo Dalmai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hugo Gilen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celso Eutor, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ituzaingó AFC's goalkeeper Hugo Gilen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 65 minutes into the match, Ituzaingó AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Cordarrell came free, but Hugo Gilen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hugo Gilen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Celso Eutor's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Clemente Rosario was shown his second yellow card after 68 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Clemente Rosario hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Hugo Gilen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celso Eutor in the 73rd minute of the match. Celso Eutor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Celso Eutor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Gilen having to interfere. If Aaron Martinez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Celso Eutor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Gilen having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Celso Casomiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hugo Gilen was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After 97 played minutes La Scaloneta got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Martinez. La Scaloneta walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
