Agustin Flor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Eutor in the 7th minute of play. When Celso Eutor came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the La Scaloneta fans jumped to their feet. Celso Eutor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Agustin Flor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. In the 12th minute Baltasar Bembe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardino Cortez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 15 minutes C. S. y D. Adrogué's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zacarias Adrio who took care of the corner kick. The corner led La Scaloneta's Benito Blasco to fire away a dangerous shot which Agustin Flor despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Celso Eutor struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Agustin Flor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Scaloneta. After a defensive mix-up in C. S. y D. Adrogué's zone, Filomeno Fiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Agustin Flor came out of the goal and Filomeno Fiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to La Scaloneta getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Aaron Martinez hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celso Eutor in the 31st minute of play forced C. S. y D. Adrogué's goalkeeper Agustin Flor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 32 minutes of play, La Scaloneta's Celso Casomiro made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Agustin Flor was left in no man's land by his defense there! Agustin Flor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celso Eutor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In a very dangerous position, a player in La Scaloneta fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 44th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 46 minutes, C. S. y D. Adrogué's Julio Ostots got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Bernardino Cortez. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Celso Eutor might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Agustin Flor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Celso Eutor ran back to his position shaking his head. Zacarias Adrio struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Bernardino Cortez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltasar Bembe in the 72nd minute of play. After 73 minutes, Moises Nesto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Scaloneta and the C. S. y D. Adrogué players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 73 played minutes La Scaloneta got a freekick which was hit by Moises Nesto. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Julio Ostots managed to get in a good position for a shot. C. S. y D. Adrogué's supporters rose to their feet, but Julio Ostots was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardino Cortez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 76 minutes into the match, C. S. y D. Adrogué's goal looked a bit too open when Celso Eutor came free, but Agustin Flor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benjamin Cordarrell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filomeno Fiz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Agustin Flor made a huge save. In the 82nd minute, La Scaloneta's Celso Eutor ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Agustin Flor. Agustin Flor yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. Agustin Flor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celso Eutor in the 86th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Aaron Martinez managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Scaloneta's supporters rose to their feet, but Aaron Martinez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Agustin Flor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind C. S. y D. Adrogué's goalkeeper Agustin Flor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 93rd minute, Celso Eutor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. C. S. y D. Adrogué's Agustin Flor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Cordarrell in the 94th minute of play. When La Scaloneta's Celso Eutor in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C. S. y D. Adrogué's goalie prevented a goal. The C. S. y D. Adrogué fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. La Scaloneta were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
