Celso Eutor started the match with the kick off. After some careless play in the El Retorno defense, Celso Eutor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Everardo Papo. The El Retorno fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Everardo Papo should have stopped the shot. Celso Eutor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Everardo Papo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Everardo Papo didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when La Scaloneta's Celso Eutor shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-3 in the ordered_time% minute. El Retorno's Everardo Papo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celso Eutor in the 20th minute of play. If Ambrosio Cordara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Celso Eutor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Everardo Papo having to interfere. Everardo Papo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celso Eutor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. El Retorno's Everardo Papo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celso Eutor in the 28th minute of play. After 28 played minutes El Retorno got a freekick which was hit by Jacobo Bento. If Celso Eutor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. Benjamin Cordarrell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. After having played for 40 minutes, Benjamin Cordarrell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Scaloneta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benjamin Cordarrell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Celso Eutor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Everardo Papo having to interfere. La Scaloneta's Celso Eutor got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The wind increased when Alfonso Montrell made the kick off in the second half. Everardo Papo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Celso Eutor's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. 54 minutes into the game, Jacobo Bento was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Retorno's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Scaloneta the free kick. Jacobo Bento hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute of the match Benito Blasco shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Everardo Papo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 65 played minutes Celso Eutor rounded El Retorno's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-5. Everardo Papo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celso Eutor in the 69th minute of the match. La Scaloneta's Zacarias Adrio managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Omar Miliano in the 72 minute of the game. 74 minutes into the game, Celso Eutor recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Everardo Papo. Celso Eutor showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. El Retorno's Everardo Papo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celso Eutor in the 81st minute of play. In the 84th minute Celso Eutor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Everardo Papo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th minute Zacarias Adrio suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Ambrosio Cordara charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ambrosio Cordara the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The crowd rose to their feet as Celso Eutor kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Everardo Papo. That made the score 0-8 in the 93 minute of play. La Scaloneta played a much better game than El Retorno and deserved their victory. The El Retorno players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
