Everardo Papo was out of position in the 14 minute of play, and Haroldo Lazcano capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Haroldo Lazcano really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfonso Montrell to make the kick off. Nunez Shepherd scored 7-0 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Everardo Papo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Atilano Matteo charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Atilano Matteo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 63rd match minute, MaRcHiTtO FuTbOl ClUb was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atilano Matteo to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute, Haroldo Lazcano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Everardo Papo was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind El Retorno's goalkeeper Everardo Papo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jacobo Bento's late challenge caught a MaRcHiTtO FuTbOl ClUb's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jacobo Bento helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of MaRcHiTtO FuTbOl ClUb booed when El Retorno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacobo Bento didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Bruno Jacob had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Atilano Matteo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Everardo Papo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Haroldo Lazcano's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. MaRcHiTtO FuTbOl ClUb walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
