Manuel Galoer scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ariel Montel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ariel Montel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Galoer, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 10 minutes into the game, Cobos's David Abajas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ariel Montel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 16th minute, David Abajas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ariel Montel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Ulises Ciano came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Independiente FC's Salvador Victoro. But to his dismay, Salvador Victoro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Ariel Montel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Abajas in the 27th minute of the match. Ariel Montel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Galoer, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 31st minute, David Abajas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cobos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Cobos's David Abajas got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 38 minutes into the match, Independiente FC's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Galoer came free, but Ariel Montel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ariel Montel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Abajas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cobos's Manuel Galoer got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 45 minutes into the match, Cobos's goalkeeper Ulises Ciano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Salvador Victoro. 47 minutes into the match, Manuel Galoer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ariel Montel. Independiente FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manuel Galoer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when David Abajas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Cobos's David Abajas got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 58th minute of the match Eliseo Gaxan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ulises Ciano skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorino Raphael in the 60th minute of play forced Cobos's goalkeeper Ulises Ciano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Independiente FC's Ariel Montel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Abajas in the 65th minute of play. Independiente FC's Ariel Montel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Independiente FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Independiente FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Candido Tabb hit a great ball. Ariel Montel made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Manuel Galoer sent off a good shot on target. In the 96th minute, Manuel Galoer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cobos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-8. The Cobos players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
