Marcos Dabi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Rafael Marz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Defensores del Dorado's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafael Marz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Americo Gauargi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Silvestre Porfirio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvestre Porfirio in the 22nd minute of play forced A Praela FC's goalkeeper Americo Gauargi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Americo Gauargi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Marz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silvestre Porfirio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Americo Gauargi having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in A Praela FC's zone, Silvestre Porfirio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Americo Gauargi came out of the goal and Silvestre Porfirio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Higinio Incendio came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the A Praela FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Higinio Incendio couldn't finish the play. If Marcos Dabi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute, Inocencio Ipar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Americo Gauargi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. A collision led to A Praela FC getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Candido Abaunza hit a great ball. Sylwester Michalski took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 49th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Americo Gauargi. A Praela FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After the first half Defensores del Dorado were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Rafael Marz made the kick off in the second half. Higinio Incendio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 55 minutes into the match, A Praela FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Marz came free, but Americo Gauargi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute, Marcos Dabi made a precise shot to the right of Anthoon Van Heurick.
