Spectators: 7183 (Terracing: 5389, Seating: 1652, VIP seats: 142) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lisandro Lano started the match with the kick off. Ovidio Bermund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogelio Beltran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7thth minute of the game Rogelio Beltran who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Caraduras F.C's Ovidio Bermund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 9 minutes, Ruperto Martino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RACING FC and the Los Caraduras F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 9th match minute, RACING FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruperto Martino to maneuver through the defense. Lázaro Valente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Teobaldo Shantala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th minute Ruperto Martino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Bermund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lázaro Valente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, RACING FC's Rogelio Beltran got a free kick in the 22nd minute. A collision led to RACING FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Rogelio Beltran hit a great ball. When Ruperto Martino came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the RACING FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruperto Martino couldn't finish the play. Ruperto Martino struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Ovidio Bermund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RACING FC. Ovidio Bermund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruperto Martino in the 38th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Ruperto Martino made a precise shot to the right of Ovidio Bermund. Los Caraduras F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After the first half RACING FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Lázaro Valente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teobaldo Shantala having to interfere. In the 53rd match minute, RACING FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaudencio Calisto to maneuver through the defense. Ovidio Bermund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Beltran in the 55th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in RACING FC's zone, Lisandro Lano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teobaldo Shantala came out of the goal and Lisandro Lano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ovidio Bermund came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by RACING FC's Ruperto Martino. But to his dismay, Ruperto Martino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. If Lázaro Valente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ovidio Bermund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogelio Beltran, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. After 77 played minutes Los Caraduras F.C got a freekick which was hit by Elias Sotil. Lázaro Valente recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elias Sotil fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 88th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. In the 90th minute, Elias Sotil made a precise shot to the right of Teobaldo Shantala. RACING FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Ovidio Bermund was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rogelio Beltran showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 93 minute of play. Chants of RACING FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Los Caraduras F.C had held the ball for most of the match.
