After 13 played minutes C A San Miguel got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Cuartio. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcos Dabi got free with Rafael Jaume in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 21 minutes into the game, Higinio Incendio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Rafael Jaume was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Higinio Incendio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Rafael Jaume made a huge save. Rene Osoitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Americo Gauargi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Americo Gauargi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rene Osoitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcos Dabi was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Candido Abaunza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Rene Osoitz came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the C A San Miguel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rene Osoitz couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in A Praela FC's zone, Victoriano Ponce stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Americo Gauargi came out of the goal and Victoriano Ponce tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A Praela FC's Higinio Incendio got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Higinio Incendio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The A Praela FC fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when A Praela FC's Marcos Dabi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Victoriano Ponce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Victoriano Ponce managed to get in a good position for a shot. C A San Miguel's supporters rose to their feet, but Victoriano Ponce was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Americo Gauargi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The A Praela FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching C A San Miguel's performance. The match ended with a win for C A San Miguel.
