Benjamin Bastiaro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jonatan Furman. El Fortín de Palermo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 12th match minute, El Fortín de Palermo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Nerio to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute, Remigio Admon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jaime Urki kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. El Fortín de Palermo's Herminio Sasoin shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 17th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Americo Gauargi but with some difficulty. In the 19th minute of the match Benjamin Bastiaro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonatan Furman skillfully saved the ball. Jonatan Ibon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Americo Gauargi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonatan Furman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Higinio Incendio, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After a rather tough play, A Praela FC's Benjamin Bastiaro got a free kick in the 30th minute. Jonatan Ibon who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Americo Gauargi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 37th minute, Severiano Leguizamón hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Marcos Dabi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to El Fortín de Palermo getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Paulo Nerio hit a great ball. A Praela FC were awarded a corner in the 51th minute after El Fortín de Palermo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Benjamin Bastiaro took the corner. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

A Praela FC's Americo Gauargi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Dunixi in the 57th minute of play. After having played for 58 minutes, Higinio Incendio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A Praela FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Higinio Incendio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonatan Ibon in the 60th minute of play forced A Praela FC's goalkeeper Americo Gauargi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonatan Furman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Higinio Incendio in the 63rd minute. Gilberto Dunixi struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Americo Gauargi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Fortín de Palermo. The coaching staff of A Praela FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Benjamin Bastiaro had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Americo Gauargi had in the 77thth minute some difficulties stopping Herminio Sasoin's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. With a little luck, El Fortín de Palermo's Jonatan Furman got control of the ball when Higinio Incendio tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 83 minutes, Higinio Incendio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched A Praela FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
