Spectators: 7359 (Terracing: 5520, Seating: 1692, VIP seats: 147) The mood of the audience was pleasant when David Abajas made the kick off which started today's match. A collision led to Cobos getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Filomeno Camerino hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Placido Elazar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chimpay AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Placido Elazar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulises Ciano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicanor Sandalio during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After having played for 17 minutes, Placido Elazar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chimpay AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Placido Elazar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Chimpay AFC's Gregorio Cordeara got control of the ball when David Abajas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Domingo Magdaleno hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 28th match minute, Cobos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filomeno Camerino to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute of the match Chimpay AFC got a corner. Cobos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Benito Honesto ran over to the corner to take the kick. Chimpay AFC's Benito Honesto was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ulises Ciano in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a little luck, Chimpay AFC's Gregorio Cordeara got control of the ball when Manuel Galoer tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers David Abajas in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gregorio Cordeara saved Chimpay AFC from getting behind. Santiago Gil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manuel Galoer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Gregorio Cordeara made a huge save.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Placido Elazar to make the kick off. Ulises Ciano made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Santiago Gil sent off a good shot on target. Chimpay AFC's Placido Elazar was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 56th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Cosme Orlondo hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. The supporters of Cobos booed when Chimpay AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benigno Manny didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Chimpay AFC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Freddy Blai hit a great ball. Osvaldo Natal kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 69th minute Manuel Galoer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregorio Cordeara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Chimpay AFC's Osvaldo Natal got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Manuel Galoer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. David Abajas took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gregorio Cordeara. Gregorio Cordeara dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Abajas in the 87th minute of play forced Chimpay AFC's goalkeeper Gregorio Cordeara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute David Abajas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregorio Cordeara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cobos's Alvaro Cordeal got a free kick in the 94th minute.
