Ovidio Bermund was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 7 minutes into the match, Los Caraduras F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Placido Elazar came free, but Ovidio Bermund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Chimpay AFC booed when Los Caraduras F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lisandro Lano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13thth minute of the game Osvaldo Natal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Caraduras F.C's Ovidio Bermund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ovidio Bermund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santiago Gil in the 16th minute of the match. Los Caraduras F.C's Ovidio Bermund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Gil in the 17th minute of play. In the 20th minute Lázaro Valente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregorio Cordeara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lisandro Lano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregorio Cordeara having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Los Caraduras F.C's Gregorio Cordeara threw himself towards the right post 24 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lázaro Valente, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Domingo Magdaleno fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chimpay AFC's protests and gave Domingo Magdaleno a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Chimpay AFC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Domingo Magdaleno hit a great ball. Los Caraduras F.C's Lázaro Valente got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 46th minute, Lisandro Lano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Los Caraduras F.C players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Chimpay AFC were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lisandro Lano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Placido Elazar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidio Bermund having to interfere. After 56 played minutes Los Caraduras F.C got a freekick which was hit by Andres Chaime. In the 63rd minute Placido Elazar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Bermund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th minute, Elias Sotil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Placido Elazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 69 minutes into the match, Lázaro Valente notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Chimpay AFC's Gregorio Cordeara. Gregorio Cordeara was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Chimpay AFC's Valentin Hernandez got a free kick in the 78th minute. Lisandro Lano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregorio Cordeara having to interfere. Chimpay AFC's Gregorio Cordeara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lázaro Valente in the 82nd minute of play. Santiago Gil who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 85thth minute tested the skills of Ovidio Bermund when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Elias Sotil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Osvaldo Natal charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Osvaldo Natal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 91 played minutes Chimpay AFC got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldo Natal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 94th minute of the game. One of Los Caraduras F.C:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Chimpay AFC:s goal. When the match had been going on for 96 minutes, Chimpay AFC's Benito Honesto got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ovidio Bermund. Chants of Chimpay AFC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Los Caraduras F.C had held the ball for most of the match.
