Spectators: 7240 (Terracing: 5432, Seating: 1665, VIP seats: 143) Defensores del Dorado's Rafael Marz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute Silvestre Porfirio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonatan Furman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafael Marz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonatan Furman having to interfere. Jonatan Furman came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Defensores del Dorado's Rafael Marz. But to his dismay, Rafael Marz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 17th minute of the match Defensores del Dorado got a corner. El Fortín de Palermo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sylwester Michalski ran over to the corner to take the kick. Rafael Marz took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonatan Furman. Jonatan Furman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Jonatan Furman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Marz, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 24th minute, Silvestre Porfirio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulo Nerio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Anthoon Van Heurick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Victor Galindo fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Defensores del Dorado's protests and gave Victor Galindo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Defensores del Dorado getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Victor Galindo hit a great ball. El Fortín de Palermo's Herminio Sasoin couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 28th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Defensores del Dorado. Jonatan Furman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Silvestre Porfirio went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. If Silvestre Porfirio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Rafael Marz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonatan Furman was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Julio Guerrero hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Rafael Marz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonatan Furman having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, Rafael Marz notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of El Fortín de Palermo's Jonatan Furman. Jonatan Furman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Defensores del Dorado were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gilberto Dunixi to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 57th match minute, Defensores del Dorado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sylwester Michalski to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafael Marz in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonatan Furman saved El Fortín de Palermo from getting behind. A hard shot 62 in the game by Silvestre Porfirio from a close distance when the talented Jonatan Furman managed to make a qualified save. El Fortín de Palermo's players were relieved. In the 67th minute Rafael Marz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonatan Furman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonatan Ibon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anthoon Van Heurick having to interfere. 72 minutes into the game, Teodosio Bazil was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Defensores del Dorado's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Fortín de Palermo the free kick. Teodosio Bazil hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Anthoon Van Heurick showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Dunixi in the 76th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Defensores del Dorado's Rafael Marz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonatan Furman. That made the score 0-6 after 79 minutes of play. El Fortín de Palermo's Jonatan Furman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvestre Porfirio in the 82nd minute of play. Silvestre Porfirios short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Jonatan Furman to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Silvestre Porfirio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonatan Furman having to make a save. Jonatan Ibon struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Anthoon Van Heurick didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Fortín de Palermo. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Defensores del Dorado had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
