Marcial Grabiel ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Palmar's Carlos Valery got a free kick in the 8th minute. Albano Cesaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Anibal Froylan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Marcial Grabiel came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Mogotes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcial Grabiel couldn't finish the play. Albano Cesaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anibal Froylan having to interfere. In the 36th minute Venancio Oxarra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anibal Froylan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Venancio Oxarra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anibal Froylan was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Mogotes's zone, Albano Cesaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anibal Froylan came out of the goal and Albano Cesaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42nd minute Gilberto Ignatius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anibal Froylan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Amado Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mogotes's supporters rose to their feet, but Amado Cruz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frans Kock breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

With a little luck, Mogotes's Anibal Froylan got control of the ball when Albano Cesaro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Venancio Oxarra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Venancio Oxarra kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Anibal Froylan. That made the score 0-5 in the 88 minute of play. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the match, Mogotes's goalkeeper Anibal Froylan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Albano Cesaro. The Mogotes fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Palmar were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
